Notes for Aaron

Aaron, you are an amazing person and I don’t use that term unadvisedly. It’s been a pleasure to work with you and have you in classes. Looking forward to what God has next.

Aaron, the last four years with you have been absolutely incredible. I am so grateful for my friendship with you and all the ways life has brought us together, from our trip to the Caribbean to your year as Scholar. You are an incredible man on integrity and I am so grateful to call you a friend.

Aaron (Darlene) Cho! Happy happy graduation!! Wow look at you go!

More than anyone else at King’s I think I have felt most comfortable and understood around you. You are uniquely genuine in relationship and always seem so confident in how you understand yourself.

Our long struggle playing Pandemic (too soon I know, but hey Essen still stands) was such a fun season of our time in NYC. And now getting to know you in a new way through discipleship and exploring what God calls us to in day to day life – I am confident I learn more from you than the other way around.

We will miss you so much, but are doing our best to be excited for this new season for you! I have no doubt God will lead you further up and further in and can’t wait to see what that looks like. Proud of you Aaron!

Debate Society Treasure.
Thank you for your friendship and your service. I’ll miss seeing you around.

AARON! If you attack life with the same vigor you graded the Hebrew Lit responses, you will go far in life haha. Dr. Johnson did at least one thing right when he brought us together as fellow FAs! I have missed and will continue to miss seeing you around King’s. I never got to taste your infamous baking/cooking–maybe one day I will! Proud of you and excited to see what God has planned for your future! Congrats–GO CELEBRATE!!

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matt. 6:33)

Aaron Cho! You’re superb and I am so glad I got to share some of my time at King’s with you. I can’t wait to see what God has next for you. You’re so AMAZING!

Aaron Cho!
CONGRATULATIONS! Thank you for the years of laughter, friendship, and love you’ve given me. Your presence at King’s was one of the (few) things that kept me grounded and calm, and I’m so grateful to have you as a close friend. Be proud of yourself and the milestones you’ve accomplished in your time here.
I’m so excited for what God has in store for you in the coming months and years, and you better believe I’ll be coming to visit you wherever you are. I’m looking forward to what you’ll be cooking up (literally and figuratively).

AARON CHO! You’re a kind, one of a kind person that I’m so thankful to have met through KDS! You’re wise beyond your years AND have mad banana foster muffin baking skills that have well equipped you for the rest of your life. You’ll do awesome as a teacher in TX! 🙂

Where do I begin? You’re such an amazing human being. I have so much respect for you, and I’m so honored to have gotten to spend my college years so close to you. I’m SO excited to see how God makes the world better through you and your meaningful work. I’m thrilled for you and proud of you!

Aaron, congratulations on graduating! Here’s to the long nights and days we spent at our internships together going through emails and ordering office supplies. I enjoyed getting to know you better last semester and can’t wait to see where life takes you! Your heart for the Lord and love for others is so evident and I am cheering you on always.

Aaron Cho,

A man of your caliber deserves more than a standard format letter, so I wrote a little haiku.

This man is legend,
Lewis’s own heart and soul,
Good and noble man.

Dude, it was an honor to cook beside you as a freshman, to watch you work as Service Coordinator and Debate Treasurer sophomore year, and watch you quietly, humbly lead the House your junior year as a magnificent House Scholar. You expect no praise for your work, you just get it done. You’re an inspiration to those around you. Keep doing your thing man, I wish you the best of luck in life.

Eddie VanZandt

Aaron! You are one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. I’m so grateful that we had the chance to hang out and debate together that one tournament freshman year. You were so supportive and I honestly learned so much from you. I wish you all the best!

Aaron!

I am so glad for your great experience at King’s and how God has used the time to shape you and prepare you for the next chapter! As you continue to seek the Lord and his heart as you head back to TX, I know he has great things in store for you. Enjoy the next adventure!

Maggie Gomo

Congrats man! Hope to see you around at a future Lewis alum event! Hit me up if you need any help. I know you’re going to do great things!

Aaron! Thanks for being such a sweet and thoughtful friend over these past four years. I’ll always remember Comm Design, playing Dutch Blitz, and eating lots of Asian food together. I can’t wait to see all of the creative ideas you come up with and watch you eventually work at Bon Appetit 😉 Stay in touch!

You and your family are some of the first people we met when we took our son to begin college at TKC. we felt such a connection to you all. We are thankful for your gentleness, wisdom, and Godliness. So thankful for your being a roommate and friend to our son. May God continue to direct your path in using your amazing gifts for His glory. Congratulations and well done!!

Aaron, congratulations on your amazing accomplishments. I’m so excited for the next chapter in your journey, as you continue to pursue justice and good for those around you. You are, quite simply, a beautiful soul.

Aaron, it has been a pleasure to work with you and to get to know you. I have no doubt that the future holds many exciting possibilities for you based on what I’ve seen you accomplish here at Kings! I’m so grateful for your dedication to Debate as I watched you take on all of the responsibilities that you did, on top of just being an incredible student. Blessings to you on a bright future ahead!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Congratulations, Aaron! you’ve been such a stellar student (and just person in general) ever since I met you ~ you’ve truly earned every accolade and honor you receive. Super hyped for whatever company / non-profit / organization which ends up lucky enough to hire you!

Congratulations Aaron! You have grown into a beautiful and loving young man. I can’t wait to see what plans God has for you. Many blessing as you enter a new chapter in your life.
