Notes for Ava

Ava, congratulations! It has been a pleasure working with you this year and I only regret that I didn’t get to know you sooner. Thank you for the ways you have served our community–can’t wait to see what is in store for you next. Congrats again!

Ava! You are a rock star in the Development office. Thank you for being dependable, creative, well-spoken, and so hard working. No doubt, you will succeed at whatever you do because you have the mind of Christ. May God continue to lead and shape you in these next chapters!

Ava, I have loved getting to know you more the past year! I am so sad that your time was cut short this semester or I know we would have shared more meals and laughs! Wish you the best!

So you survived the winter after all! Good luck with the next year! Sad to see you go.

Ava, what a pleasure it was to work with and get to know you this last year! I can’t tell you how much you will be missed.
Your professionalism, efficiency, positivity, and sense of humor will take you far in life, and I can’t wait to see where you will go! Congratulations and best of luck!

Ava! Wow, what i year. I will always remember your poise and positivity, but also your power and willingness to fight for what is true. Thanks for the innumerable ways you’ve served during this challenging year. In ten years, I think you’ll look back and consider not so much the circumstances but the way you responded to them. And you’ll have much to be proud of.

Ava! Congratulations on this amazing accomplishment! I’m so proud of you. Happy Graduation!!

My sweetest Ava! I am so grateful for your generous and hopeful heart and the way you love me and others so well. I will miss running into you around campus so dearly.

So thrilled for you and this next chapter!

Ava,

You have become a staple in my life over this past year, and I am not ready to see you go. You are exceedingly competent, curious, strong, witty, and fiery. I will never forget our Fall Retreat tradition 😉 or the great graham cracker fiasco that occurred the next night. I am so thankful for our many happy memories together, but mostly I am just thankful for your presence in my life. It better continue!!

Ave, Ava!

You’ve done a great job working as the Director of Communications this year and I know from Latin 1 that you’re a hard-worker in your studies as well. You are a bright and noble soul and I wish you all the best in the years to come.

Vale!
Eddie VanZandt

Ava <3 You made this year the best one yet. Thank you for support, humor, and caring heart. I will always be grateful to have gotten to work alongside of you. I love you long time sweet friend. Can't wait to be together again.

Ava! I will never forget my mom calling me on the phone soon after dropping my off at Albee, telling me, “Ellen! I met this girl Ava and she was very sweet! You need to find her and become her friend! She will help you!” Well, surprise surprise, my mom was right and I am so happy she was! Ava, you have become such a sweet friend over this year and your smile has provided so much comfort during my time at King’s. I will never forget our laughs during ETAP haha! I know you are off to change the world and I cannot wait to see all the wonderful things God does in your life!

Ava, you are an absolute rockstar! I don’t know how I got lucky enough to be your (little) big, but I couldn’t be more thankful because I feel it gives me full license to be in your life long after graduation has come and gone. It feels trite to say that you’re kind, smart, creative and a good friend. You’re the best versions of all those qualities and more. You will thrive wherever you go and I look forward to always telling you how amazing you are 🙂 I am always in your corner and ready to get coffee. Love you endlessly.

Congratulations, Ava! Your wisdom and deep love of the Good, True, and Beautiful made TKC a better place. I still remember our discussion at CFA Fulton St. so fondly – thank you for loving this community well.

Ava!

Congratulations!! It has been such a pleasure to get to know you over these last few years as a Barton sister, fellow HUM major, and through the Council. You’ve always inspired me in your dedication to your work, the love you show to others, and your faith in Christ. May you continue to walk steadfastly in His ways as He leads you into the next adventure!

Ava, glad we got to know each other this year! If there’s anything you taught me, it’s that Iowa is COOL. Wish you the best for whatever comes next!

Sweet Ava, you are a treasure! So thankful we got to work together this year, you were the biggest blessing in so many ways! I wish you all the best in everything you do!

AVA

What a freaking powerhouse. It was always a joy to work with you on the Cabinet this year. You are so steadfast and so caring that it has left a deep impression on me. It was honestly not surprising to learn that you landed a job so quickly! Please please please take care, don’t die!

Ava, my only regret is that I hadn’t met you and gotten to know you sooner. You are wonderful, funny, and joyful! Thank you for blessing us by serving as a faithful FA and student worker in Advancement. Blessings to you!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Ms. Grossmann Congrats thanks for the morning conversations wishing you all the best.

You are radiantly beautiful, incredibly bright and intelligent, and always kind. I enjoyed getting to know you a little bit Ava, and I always loved hearing you share in class! Wishing you all the best at whatever you pursue.

Ava! You play violin like a boss and it was always so cool seeing you play at Refuge. I remember one time at the White Horse just catching up and talking, hope we can do that again someday. Best of luck in all your endeavours!

Ava,

You are such a RAY of sunshine!! Thank you for being such an incredible friend!! You have taught me so much, including how to make a mean, homemade vegan pizza! I hope we are able to have another pizza date soon! Congrats(:

Best,
Serena

From submitting our C&S project to finishing out Modern Philosophy together, I have always admired your thoughtfulness and genuine pursuit of excellence in everything you do. Thank you for being my classical music buddy and going to my first concert at Carnegie Hall with me freshman year, and for giving the best hugs! You’re a good egg, Ava Grossmann, and I can’t wait to see where God takes you!!

Ava!
