“Daniel, It was great having you in class for both semesters of your senior year! You brought a lot to the classroom in terms of discussion and questions. It was wonderful to see you processing and learning so much in Political Economy and the Scottish Enlightenment. I’m glad you came to see Hayek as a genius in the Constitution of Liberty (since he is). I am confident your learning at King’s will serve you well in the future – I already see you developing into a thoughtful mature leader. Carry on!”

Notes for Daniel

Daniel, it has been incredible to watch you during your time at King’s. I have so much respect for the man that you are and I am so proud to now call you a graduate of The King’s College! Congratulations!

Daniel! What a ride it has been?! I am so proud of you. You have grown so much over the last four years. Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside of you. It was a privilege to do so. You are a leader. Keep using your talents to draw others to Christ. Congratulations and God bless you!

Daniel- I have seen you grow so much over the years. Congrats on your graduation from King’s! Take care and God bless! Wish you the best always.

My man– It has been the biggest honor to grow up with you and then spend my first year of college with you. Some of my most fun and fondest childhood memories come from hanging out with you and your family. Miss those days when we played soccer together and had a bunch of sleepovers. I wish you all the best in this next chapter and you know you will always have me as your biggest supporter and your best friend. Much love my brother. Thanks for helping me along my first year here at Kings.

Congratulations, Dan! The Lord has big plans for your life and he will use you in ways you couldn’t have thought of in these coming years–I pray that this next season will be blessed for you!

Dan – Could not be more proud of your desire to know Christ and seek him in all parts of your life. So excited for what lies ahead for you in DC!

Daniel, Congratulations! What a joy it is for me to see you achieve this goal. I am so proud of you. You have grown a lot over the last four years and I’m thankful that I have been privileged to have a ringside seat to witness the transformation. I cannot stress enough how much joy you have brought to mom, myself and the entire family since the day you were born. I look forward to the next steps of your life, D.C, work and so much more. I confess, probably more than anything else, I will miss watching you navigate and manage the midfield, setting up the show and leading your team. Keep using the talents your Heavenly Father has given to you so that you will become more conformed to the One who made and saved you. Above all, remember the promise He made to mom and I and to you and those who come after you…Gen 17:7

Congrats, Dan!! So proud of you and your negotiation skills. Can’t wait to see what God has in store for you and to celebrate on Saturday!

Fuenzy,

Even since those first days at soccer practice, you’ve stood out as a charismatic and collected presence. I’ve enjoyed talking with you in and out of class, and I hope our paths cross again in the future. Best of luck post-grad!

Eddie VanZandt

Daniel, you are my first and best study buddy and you shaped my King’s experience for the better. I’ve seen you grow so much in the past four years and I am really proud of you. You saw me at my best and my lowest were a steadfast friend, and I am so grateful for that. So many of my favorite King’s memories involve you, like the birthday breakfasts and Central Park picnic. We’ve come so far since playing tic-tac-toe on the edge of my C&S notes and studying in the Wall Lounge! You are caring, thoughtful, kind, funny, and always the life of the party. I hope we stay friends for many more years!

Daniel, congrats! I met you when you were playing books of the Bible backward at the dinner table and then all the way up to you cooking chicken at your apartment talking about New Testament (A favorite time of mine). I look forward to following what God has in store for you in DC and beyond. The Lord bless! (1 Chronicles 12:32)

Dan, you’re such a great guy, and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you these past four years. I’m really excited to see what God has for you in the coming years!

Daniel, walked into King’s as boy and you’re leaving this place as an exemplary man. So proud of the man you’ve become. Congratulations!

Congratulations Daniel…
There really aren’t words to describe the joy I have in seeing this day come.
It has been such a blessing to be a close part of your family. I have known you since you were born and you’re so very dear to us.
We have shared so much together as families.
May you continue to be a light in the darkness, may you grow in His love and may this be only the beginning of great and wonderful things for you.
Love you dearly

Daniel, Congratulations! It has been an absolute joy and privilege to be your friend and classmate during our time at King’s, and to get to see the hard-working, intelligent PPE graduate that you’ve become. Thank you for being a part of some of my best memories of college, including endless hours studying for micro and bus stats, scavenger hunts in Central Park, and the best ever 4th of July with friends! Blessings on everything ahead!

Daniel,

Your love for learning and inquiry is an inspiration and I feel lucky to know you. Thank you for the music recommendations and the great memories, especially Illenium and Israel. Wishing you nothing but the best beyond King’s!

Congrats Daniel! It is really does suck that your graduation was infected by Corona, there is no denying that. However, as best as possible do not let it overshadow your accomplishments, you earned them so take them forward into your life. Nothing changes that this is a landmark event. And, for at least the next 5 years you should get some extra sympathy at any job interview! Best to you and God’s continual blessings upon you.

Congratulations Daniel on a job well done! I am very proud of the man that you have become, and the man that God is molding you to be. It just seems like yesterday I was watching you and playing video games with you and your sister and brother. All sweet memories and blessings. I will continue to pray for you as you grow in the lord and as you now go out into the world and make your way.

Congratulations, Dan!!! If it existed, you would definitely win the award for most enthusiastic student. You have worked SO hard to reach this point and your enthusiasm is only matched by your diligence. Those qualities are infectious — I’ve never been more pumped to study economic development and learn growth models than the times you sat down with a smile and notebook ready to review. You have a natural gift of leadership and I know you will use that influence for Kingdom ends wherever you go. I’m thankful for your friendship and so excited for you! You have truly earned this degree. Savor every second of this next week!

So so proud of you!!! So sorry you’re graduation is different! So happy to have grown up with you! So glad to call you my friend! I wish you so much success and happiness!!

Our QB1. You’ve been my brother the last four years and will continue to be for the next 60. I love you so much, bro. You have made me a better man, friend, and receiver. Let’s ride the bowl soon.

Daniel! Congrats on this Great accomplishment! Seeing you grown makes me feel old as I remember when you were born. I am very proud of you and for your whole family. Enjoy the moment. Crush the next challenges and Milestones ahead! Keep up the momentum! – Mr. Italian Louie out!

Daniel, congrats!! I’ve known you for a long time and it brings me a lot of joy to see the man you’ve become. You are filled with integrity, wisdom, and have a great work ethic. I have no doubt that you will completely crush whatever challenges/opportunities come next for you. I can’t wait to see what the future brings. God bless you.

Congratulations!!! I’m very happy for you!! May God continue to guide you as embark on a new chapter!! Nothing but love for you!!

I have been blessed with the opportunity to follow the footsteps of my older brother! Daniel, you’ve paved the path for me and you have led by example with what it means to be a Godly man of integrity. I am thankful to have shared the time at Kings with you and I won’t forget all that you have done for me in your time here. Congratulations on such a big achievement! I am looking forward to all that you do in the future and I am excited to continue walking through life with you. Happy graduation!

Brother Daniel,

“From childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” It has been a privilege to walk with you through these college years, watching as childhood faith has become manly faith, listening as you’ve sought the wisdom that comes in fearing the Lord. I’ve been especially impressed with the grace evident in your responses to major disappointments, one at each end of your senior year. Few things show the mettle of a man like how he receives unexpected and unwanted change from the hand of the Lord.

Now begin your years of usefulness in the fields of the world. I commend to your meditation these words of the Preacher:

“I have seen the business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that He cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil – this is God’s gift to man. I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before Him” (Eccl 3:10-14).

There will be times when God’s work will mystify you, precisely because you know and long for all He has promised. Your task is not to see and understand as He does, “from the beginning to the end.” Your task is “to be joyful and to do good as long as [you] live” – joyful because you know God is sovereign and guiding all things toward the goodness He made us to long for; and busy doing good because you know your labor is not in vain the Lord, regardless of how things look at the moment. Those who sow in tears will reap in joy – so “eat and drink and take pleasure in all [your] toil.”

I can’t wait to see how God uses you, and how the seeds planted in you since before you were born will bear fruit not just in your life but in generations to come. Fight the good fight of faith, my brother. Grace to you.

Dear Daniel,
I am so thrilled to know of this milestone in your life. Not only are you graduating, but you are graduating having used your four years of college to know more about your covenant God, His world, how to serve in it faithfully, and the unique blessings (and challenges) that brings. I am so thankful that your desire is to seek first the Kingdom of God and HIs righteousness. Be assured that all other things will be added unto you – in ways you will never expect and to such a degree that you will say, “my cup runs over.” Enjoy your special day and go to your next sphere of service and study in life with the abiding conviction that the most thrilling and satisfying life comes in the path of glorifying and enjoying God now as a foretaste of what that will be forever. With deep appreciation for you and your family, Pastor Shishko

Daniel, what a blessing you are to those around you! So thankful to have worked together and pursued justice together at the UN. You are unstoppable!

Congrats Dan! Thank you for sharing your joy and your sense of wonder with the world!

Looking at a bright, articulate, God-fearing, right-thinking young man like you… it does my heart good. The church needs more Daniels. The world needs more Daniels. Go forth & conquer, my man… build kingdom to the glory of God! I can’t wait to see how the Lord uses you. Congratulations! Well done!

Pastor Liechty

As we look back over the years of your life, how blessed we are to be able to see you graduate college. The years in Brooklyn, North Carolina, and in Pennsylvania were precious to us, it gave us the opportunity to see you grow into the man you are today, a young man who is steadfast in his faith. You will always be remembered in or prayers. We are so proud of you! We love you!
Psalm 15
O LORD, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill?
He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart;
who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor,
nor takes up a reproach against his friend; in whose eyes a vile person is despised,
but who honors those who fear the LORD; who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
He who does these things shall never be moved.

It is with joy that we celebrate your leadership, accomplishments & College Graduation! Thank you for allowing us to see the transformation in your life! So grateful for the plans that God has for you!

We have watched you grow from a little boy who had a heart for God to a young man who continues to look to God as you start a new journey. Your graduation is not what not you expected but it is not the ceremony but the life you live as you go forward with your life for the Lord. We love you and look forward to seeing what the Lord has planned for you.

Daniel – Congratulations on your graduation from The King’s College!

My beautiful son, my heart is full with pride and joy as I’ve spent these last days reflecting on your life. You brought immediate joy to our family and those around us with your chubby cheeks and infectious smile! You never napped because you were always ready for the next adventure. You took on every new experience with ease, from jumping out of the car and just riding a bike with no practice to tackling every sport possible effortlessly. You loved Latin, grammar and music. You were always willing to help, rarely complained, and in so many instances during hard times reminded me that God had it all in control. God has given you a sensitive spirit towards others and a heart that desires to know Him more and advance his kingdom! During these college years I have witnessed your growth in so many areas and am so proud of the man you have become and I am so thankful for not only the education you received at The Kings College but the friendships and mentors you made on the way.

Your future is bright and I will be cheering you on as you advance into a new adventure. Never stop loving God and seeking his will and please keep loving music, sports, a train trip, fireworks and a marvelous sunset. Remember – every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end.

All my love – Momma

Congratulations Dan!!! Started from Worldview camp in 2013 and now we’re here LOL. I’m so glad to know you and glad that you’ve been apart of some of my fave college memories! You’re truly one of the kindest and most enthusiastic people I’ve ever met. Thanks for making sure everyone stayed hype on the Israel trip. I know you’ll encourage whoever you are surrounded by in that same way for the rest of your life! See you soon!

Congratulations, Daniel! Well done. Thankful to have gotten to meet you during your time at Kings and Apostles Church. Sure do hope that we’ll get more and more time to connect in the years ahead! Here’s to all that’s ahead of you.

Daniel,

I think of you as many things – kind beyond measure, enthusiastic beyond reason, an educational spearhead, my first friend… the tenacity with which you compel those around you to seek truth and goodness is second to none. Your influential nature to garner the ears of those in your presence is a privileged gift (I am reminded of when you stood in a theater in front of hundreds and asked who was favored in The Hunger Games…Peeta or Gale.. or the time when you more than intrigued me about Wacquant’s thoughts on Mass Incarceration). How satisfactory to celebrate your accomplishments of graduating college, not merely in spite of the challenges you conquered or the road traveled to get here but, because of the manifest holiness in your journey recognizable throughout. May your ears be ever attentive and your eyes ever open to the will of the Lord, and may you continue to use your talents for the glory of God forever.

I love you.

Always,
Sis

Sweet Daniel,

My how time has flown! And, oh, the memories!

Here you are graduating college and on your way to even greater adventures ahead. I can remember how excited I was when you were born! Did you know I gave you your first haircut when you were only two months old? Everything about you was always on the go right from the start!

Teaching you was such a great blessing. Whether it was informal logic or English grammar, you excelled as a student – always at no surprise to me. You were so much fun in class! You have always been a deep thinker. As far back as I can remember, I can see your face contemplating thoughts in your mind, always trying to figure everything out until it made sense.

Daniel, it blesses me now to see that the character which began forming in you as a little boy has continued to grow steadfastly into your adult life. You are a good, kind, godly, sincere, caring, strong, confident, giving, fun-loving, multi-talented, and tender man. And you’re really cool! 🙂 No matter where you go and no matter what you do, may you continue to follow Jesus and grow in God’s wisdom and grace.

You are and always will be so very precious to me! If you ever, EVER need me, you just let me know. I love you dearly. (And thanks for my poem!)

Congratulations!!!

Love always,
Aunt Teresa

MY MAN DANIEL! No way that it’s been four years already! I’m sure to you it may feel like 40, but to me it feels like a blink! Dude, I’m so proud of you! Wishing you nothing but the best as it looks like you’re heading to DC! You just let me know when you need me to do work on your campaign. 😉
Love you my man! Continue to keep God first. Looking forward to seeing you at some point!

Congratulations, Daniel! Who’d have thought, back in Challenge II, that we’d both be crushing it at King’s? Can’t wait to see what great things you do next.

Daniel, I am so grateful God placed you at Kings! You’ve left an imprint on so many of us and in so many places and we were blessed because of it. Congratulations on a job well done and for finishing the race! You did it! Blessings on the road ahead.

Ps- All these pictures are making me cry. I remember when you were all that little!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Daniel,

I’m exceedingly grateful for the blessing to have you as a brother and a friend. I praise God for the man you have become.

I pray that the Lord Jesus continues to fill you with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

Do not ever hesitate to reach out to me if there is any way I can serve you.

Stand fast in the faith!

Duane Garner

Gid bless you

Daniel,

I am so proud of you and of what you have accomplished. I have known you since you were a little child and it has been a blessing to watch you grow and mature and to see the godly man you are today. I look forward to watching you take off and achieve great things in your life. Continue to work hard and diligently and bring forth good fruit as the Lord leads and directs you. It’s a true blessing knowing you and your family. God bless you and keep you. Proverbs 3:5-6.0

Daniel:
Congratulations on your graduation from TKC! You and the Jones family will eventually get to have that dinner at Antica. We are so looking forward to it. All the best to you. You are a fine young man.

Daniel,
Great to get to know you in PWS class this spring. I appreciate your questions and your humility and your courage to submit articles for publication. I know you will go far. “Oh Lord, teach us to number our days so that we may present to you, a heart of worship.” Psalm 90:12. Best Wishes, Prof. Glader

Congratulations Daniel!!

I am so blessed and thankful to have grown up with you in my life. You always took such good care of me and always did your best to include me in whatever shenanigans you were up to. Whether it was playing on the swings or building train tracks I could always go to you for fun and laughter! I’m so proud of you and blessed to call you my cousin!

All my love,
Rachel

Dear Daniel,

I sit here thinking of my very earliest memories, so many of which are of us cousins playing and laughing together. As Rachel said, what a privilege to have grown up with you, not only as a cousin, but also as an older brother in so many ways! I see how you live according to 1 Timothy 4:8-12, which speaks of godliness and the courage to express our faith even in challenging circumstances. You were, and are, an example of a godly young man who has taught me many lessons about diligence, wisdom, and faith. But in times like these when we reminisce about the past, I also think about your future. I can see how your faith, this time of education now completed (hooray! :), and your many talents and abilities are blessing directly from the Lord, and I am so excited to see where He takes you on your journey.

I love you so much!
Rebecca

You Daniel have been given much, I personally know this is true. You have been superbly outfitted for war and are a dangerous man.

For you were reared in the fear and admonition of the Lord, cherish it, for it is and always will be the greatest gift you’ve ever been given by mortal man. Without it all else descends into futility and the pride of life.

Despise all the forces that would seek to compromise you, knowing those forces don’t always come from without.

Also, set your heart on gratitude. Most think this is the stuff of feelings, happening or not happening automatically, not necessarily something within our control. Nonsense. This takes effort. Certainly not too difficult to apprehend when looking at a sunrise or eating one of grandma’s meals, but I’m talking about something much more comprehensive and counterintuitive. This will both elevate and profoundly humble you. Hard enough for the meekest of men, let alone for those who deal in the power game of politics.

And in case you think all of this… the truly Christian life… extremely difficult, you would be wrong. It is impossible. However, you serve the God of the impossible.

He raises dead men.

Dear Daniel,

Congratulations on your graduation from The King’s College! What a joy it must be for you to reflect upon all your successes and life lessons for these past four years.
Your journey this far has been lead by the Lord and will surely continue. Always remember the hope and promise of the future you feel now because you are in the Heavenly Father’s hands. You are greatly blessed by godly parents who labor in love over your body and soul.
Blessed is the man who is planted like a tree by steams of living water. Sharing in your parents joy,
Rosemarie Herold

Growing up is easy , becoming a man is not that simple . And what kind of man to become is even more the question . A man is known by his goings , not what he says and not by his capabilities and or by his promises but by what he has done consistently over time . So now the question is what do you want to be known for and why and then how to get there. I’ve seen your true faith and sound understanding of biblical principles in body and soul , I’ve heard the right wrestling’s in discipline for honor before the lord and man , I’ve watched the challenge of geography fail against the strength of family unity and of the studious attention to fatherly wisdom from both heaven and earth . Daniel it is these things that have made this impressive resume possible . Congrats you are now known by your goings . John herold

Daniel, (the MANiel),

Faith and I are sitting here in Gilbert, Arizona and reflecting on a trove of memories from your birth and baptism to now, the eve of your graduation and commencement. We could not be more excited to share in this moment.

We are reveling in the faithfulness of God, the unbridled joy of your parents who nurtured you in Jesus. We see the faces of your grandparents, aunts and uncles, pastors and professors who prayed and poured on truth and wisdom upon you as they walked and lived the life of faith, as models to you.
Our faith is strengthened, yet again.
Our hope in God is made yet brighter, and so… we celebrate this passage—
this journey going forward.
God bless and keep you!
“ His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence…” 2 Peter 1:3

With love and thankfulness for every memory of you,

Pastor Ron Weinbaum

Dan,

We are celebrating with you from a distance today! We are thankful for your life and your friendship with Benjamin these past four years. You have brought joy in the journey.

As so many times in the past, our prayers are with you as you go forward in the plans that the Lord has placed before you.

I will miss your enthusiastic greetings on my visits and our quick chats on the phone now and then. I look forward to hearing through Benjamin of your future adventures.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you and be gracious to you!

All our best!

Congratulations on your graduation Daniel! I’m a friend of your dad from your our days at Nyack College. I met you, your mom, Esther and Isaiah, when you were like 10 years old at your home when your dad invited me over and showed me his massive book collection. I remember being blown away by your dad’s home library, not so much with the quantity of books but more so the quality of his reading interests. I knew then your dad was a great intellect and a great man of God, and that he and your mom were raising up 2 great sons, a great daughter, and moreover awesome servants of Christ. May you honor your parents and glorify God in all that you do. From what I’ve heard from your dad, you certainly sound like a chip off the old block. Congratulations again and God bless you!

Congrats Danny! I know you’ll going on to more great adventures and I know we will stay in touch so I’m excited to see where you go. Enjoy your day

Congratulations Dan, my friend! Thank you for all you have done for Athletics and men’s soccer. You are a leader on and off the field. A well deserved Athlete of the Year, I know you will be very successful in all of your endeavors. God bless you!

So proud of you. Always hopeful, always committed, faithful and a huge kind heart…..these are Daniel. Because of these everyone around you has been blessed. Watching you grow, even from a distance, we have been blessed by your light. Love you deeply and so excited to see your journey continue. God bless you. 😍

Daniel,
There are key moments in each of our lives that we will keep with us for the rest of our lives. Today is one of those days for you. Not only have you achieved a great milestone which will set the path for your future endeavors but you’ve also brought great joy to your family… as your father has intensely expressed to me. Continue to push yourself in life like this, and college graduation will be the first of many great accomplishments for you, your brother in Christ,
Ethan

Daniel,

Tio Marcelo, Tia Marialena, Christian, Andrew and Vivian

Congratulations Dan the Man, I thoroughly enjoyed our chats in 95 Wall and talking with you after bible stud

Congrats, Daniel!
I am so blessed to have been a part of your academic journey when you were much younger. As a teacher, I am occasionally honored to instruct a student who truly inspires me. You were certainly one of those students. I also thank God for you and your family’s Christian love and friendship to my family. I leave you with the first Bible verse I ever learned when your Nani, Stella, discipled me, many years ago before you were born.
“And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ…” Phil 1: 9-10
In Him with love,
Mrs. Erin Rich

Daniel: It’s my impression that the digital yearbook will soon be closed, so I wanted to join the 10,000 other people who have already sent you a note here. More seriously, congratulations on earning your PPE degree and receiving the Athlete of the Year award! You were a wonderful student in every course that you took with me, and I commend you for your diligence, intellectual curiosity, and pursuit of excellence. You have been one of my closest friends over the past four years and will continue to always be one of the closest friends in my life no matter the distance.
