“Haley, your love of all thing ancient Egyptian has found a place in my little academic heart. I’m so excited for you and your future. Sharing our many day trips (Phildelphia!) and museum jaunts was always more fun because you were there. I can’t wait to see where you land. Have fun in Scotland!”

Notes for Haley

Congratulations, Haley! Thanks for always greeting me with a big smile and all your work as a Housing Assistant. May God bless you in your next chapter.

Haley! I cannot believe your time at King’s is complete. I vividly remember you being the first gal I moved into Clark Street all those years ago. You make me laugh so much. I love all the random tweets and funny things we send each other often. You are the best. Lots of love to you, my friend.

Haley, so glad you’ve slugged it out with us. So much growth in such a short time. It’s been somethin’ differ’nt eavesdropping from my office! Will miss your presence and whimsy.

Haley, can’t wait to see you and Louis moving back into DeVos next semester…right? Congratulations on graduation! Thanks for all the laughs this past year. Just let me know when we are going to an ATL concert!

That went fast! Congratulations! I don’t think Amity will see this, but I’m sure she would want to extend her congratulations as well. I’m glad to have had you in two classes and debate (however brief). You always brought in passion and preparedness in all you did and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Haley! Thank you for all the antics this past year and for being an all around great friend. You’re a fantastic person and such a light in my life, and I’m glad to be able to call you my friend.

HALEY! I can’t believe we have known each other for so long now. Thank you for always being one of the most fun and vibrant parts of Thatcher!! I can’t wait to see all of your adventures!!

Haley, what will I do without seeing you around? Your boundless enthusiasm is infectious and beautiful. I’ll miss trying to suppress our giggles in class like crazy. Have the most wonderful time in Scotland!!! (As if I have to say that, because you + the land of Mary Stuart = best combo.)

Oh, Haley. Your fierce love and rockstar Interregnum performances continue to inspire me. Iron Love, always.

Ahhh Haley. Despite all of our jabs at one another, you really are my most favorite arch-nemesis. There is no one else that I would rather spend a night out on the town with. The House of Thatcher will never be the same without your pink and green wig spirit! Turns out Scottland isn’t too expensive of a flight if you sneak on in a checked bag… but neither of us would ever be that mischievous…

Thank you so much for being a friend and for listening when I needed someone to talk to. I will miss you lots!

Haley,

It’s been such a wonderful adventure being your friend! Thank you for being my history-minor buddy (even if we did get glared at by professors for constantly whispering in the front row. oops.)!

I expect a history-heavy tour of Scotland when I come to visit you! Hopefully there will be fewer snafus than Philidelphia and England!

Stay in touch and best of luck in the coming years!

Haley! Congrats!! Thanks for letting me pet Louis in the Greenwich lobby and for the stories and nuggets of wisdom I got a long the way.

Haley, If there’s one good thing that came out of that pre-freshman year GroupMe, it’s that I could be friends with you. Your ability to push on and persevere is so admirable, and your sense of humor, your talent, and your ability to excel with minimal effort are all truly incredible. I’ll miss being able to randomly stop by your apartment and watch weird stuff like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies or that one Eric Andre video. However, I can’t wait to see you crush it in Aberdeen, Egyptology, and the Museum world!!!

What’s the Arvil Lavine song that goes “MY LIFE .. WOULD SUCK .. WITHOUUUUUT YOU!” That’s how I feel about you. You have brought me nothing but joy and I value you so much. Congrats!

Ms. Haley Anne Turner, I don’t have the words to describe how much you mean to me. While this year definitely had a lot of ups and downs, I was able to survive because you were by my side. Not only are you one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever known, but you are so passionate about everything that you do. You protect your friends fiercely and with love. I always end up loving every single movie or TV show you force me to watch. I miss our Saddle Club watching parties and beating you at Mario Kart while Louis cuddles on the blue King’s blanket on my bed (because I love him, but I don’t want him on my comforter!). I’ve loved our cooking parties and late night ice cream seamless orders. I know that your Yoshi impression will never fail to make me laugh so hard I cry and I also know you will never allow me to capture that on video, so you better keep FaceTiming me so I can remember how hilarious you are. You’re such a beautiful friend and I honestly don’t know what my life would look like without you. I love you so much.

Haley,

You make everything more fun! I will miss having you on house retreats and seeing you in the fish bowl, but I’ll always treasure those memories. I can’t wait to see where life takes you. Scotland is beyond lucky to be getting you. Congratulations1

Haley, where to begin? Oh yes, we bonded over you weeping over a delicious cannoli during Inviso then kept in touch until we got to campus. We were HAs together, which was… memorable. You’ve sent me the Bee Movie script so many times and held my hand uncomfortably. We are a chaotic duo and I’ve laughed harder with you than most people. Thank you for being such a sweet friend!

Haley Turner, the Random Theme Queen! What will Thatcher even do without you next year? You always had the most Thatcher spirit and we will miss that so much. And not to mention that you’ve been KILLING IT at Random Theme for so many years. It will be strange without you next year, but I am so thankful for the years I got to spend with you! I hope Scotland will appreciate you just as much as we do!

Haley!

Congratulations on graduating! You’ve done a great job at King’s and have truly brought entertainment to every conversation. You’re a good friend and seek to help everyone become better. You even took time to help me live a little (no small achievement). You’re a great worker and I treasure our sophomore year on the housing team. Good luck in your future endeavors!

I remember you were one of the first people who talked to me at Clark St. and I STILL appreciate it because transferring schools is honestly terrifying. 🙂 Much love to you, Haley, can’t wait to see all you accomplish!

You are 100% that Thatcher. If I ever needed someone to tell me “It be like that,” you were there. You were dealt a hard hand, and you persisted. I admire how honest and real you are, it’s a breath of fresh air. You brightened my experience at King’s, and you were a good neighbor to me when I needed one. We’ll reflect on this insanity one day and laugh… and laugh and laugh and laugh. Love you dearly. Your future is bright.

Haley. I was gonna type away but then I had to just stop and take a breath because there’s just so much. I wish I had gotten to know you better, but I’m just filled with so much joy from who you are. You are so funny and resilient and brilliant and so much more. I’m so grateful for all the classes we’ve had together and am so pumped for all that life holds for you!

Hayley! I’m so thankful I got to spend so much of my time (especially freshman year) with someone so smart, funny, and kind. I still think about how fun it was to have such a good friend live just above me. I miss you and I wish you the best in your life post-grad!

Congratulations!!

your pink and green wig is burned into my memory, therefore you are burned into my memory and I am so cool with it. Congrats on graduating, Haley!

you are amazing Haley. Can’t wait to see what your future holds. I hope you know how valued you are. Best wishes and congrats!

Haley, I can not adequately put into words how proud of you I am. You have accomplished so much, with so much adversity. I’m in awe of your strength and resilience and I know it’s there even when you don’t see it your self. You are so loved by so many. Those closest to you know your heart is faithful, kind and fiercely loving. You are brilliant beyond measure and your new found faith in God is inspiring. Your wealth and depth of knowledge is amazing and I know you had wonderful professors at TKC to thank for that. You are my daughter and my friend and I’m so thankful to get to love, LAUGH and live life with you. I can’t wait to see what God has next for you.

Haley, it was a delight to get to work with you and know you in your time at Kings. You killed it as Madge Mahoney! Thank you for blessing us all with your loving, supportive, creative, and fun spirit. Much love to you in this new season!

Haley!!! Thinking all the way back to Founder’s, we really are day one’s. Getting to be in Thatcher with you has literally been the biggest blessing. I love your charismatic personality and I will miss it dearly. Also, not to mention the Kate Spade taxi heels!!

Never stop being you. And please don’t forget about me in Scotland!!

God has a call on your life. Reading the posts here it is evident that those who come into your sphere of influence are deeply touched in a positive way. Your infectious smile brings joy to many. Beauty and brains with a heart of gold you will go far. I am so so so proud of you. Our adventures have been awesome and more are to come. From mosh pits to Europe to NYC life shared with you has brought me great happiness. I am proud of the young lady you have grow to be. Love ya

Hal Turner.

All of my strangest memories from King’s – the ones that either require the most context and explanation or the ones that simply cannot be explained adequately – they all seem to feature you. Some of them also feature a man in a lake; those memories are from Clark Street. Thanks for keeping me on my toes and keeping me laughing. It’s been a fun four years, and I wish you success post-King’s.

Hey Haley,

I am so blessed to have gotten to know you! Every conversation that I had with you was memorable (and usually Chaotic 😉 and I would not have given this up for anything! I am going to miss hanging out with you, ranting about life, and mutually trying to annoy Zach! I know that you are going to do great things in life (and you are going to the Grad School that you wanted to) and I cannot wait to see what you will accomplish!

I hope that I will see you soon!

Love you Sister!

Haley! I love you! From day one you are so unapologetically yourself. I love your confidence in who you are- I remember talking about Teen Wolf when you visited as a high schooler. I knew then we would get along just fine! I am so blessed to know you. You are full of joy and strength. It has been such a delight seeing you grow. Welcome to the alumnae club, my friend!

Haley! My best friend, you done did it! You’ve worked so hard and put in so many hours to complete this and I’m so proud of you!! What an accomplishment! Kings got a good one when they got you but I know great things are coming! I’m so excited to see you take on Aberdeen and grad school! Congrats babes, I love you!

Haley, what a time it has been. Just between Philly and London, we’ve been through quite a lot. I’m glad we could go on those wild rides together, and to have been a part of the Front Row(TM) group of friends in Museum Studies. Have so much fun in Scotland! Whenever I see anything about Mary Queen of Scots, I’ll think of you.

Haley, Before the digital yearbook is closed, I wanted to congratulate you on earning your MCA degree. I greatly enjoyed having you in Foundations of Politics in your first year and appreciated your many contributions to class discussion. Wishing you many blessings in your life after King’s!
