A mi querido hijo

Congratulations my son for this achievement. I am very proud of you; for your love for God and for your dedication, effort and perseverance to successfully complete this university degree. Despite being away from your family and without a family in New York, the Lord has filled you with his Grace and his Favor, providing you with an extended family of friends, brothers in faith and pastoral coverage that love and protect you as a son. What else can I say, I love you son.

Ivan, I’ve really enjoyed our time together as classmates. You’re a great guy, and I’ll enjoy our conversations… even if they were distractions from class projects. I laugh every time I think of the “Dead Economist Podcast.” That was so much fun! I’m so excited to see how God is going to use you!

Congrats old man, you finally graduated. 😉 So glad Res Life brought us together, Ivan! You’re such a smart, talented, and caring guy, I know whatever you do you do down the road will be a roaring success.

You’re going to be a history-maker! Well done on all fronts. Congratulations.

Congratulations Ivan! Excited to see what all the future has in store for you. I also miss the jokes and general interaction we had in and throughout that one particular course…

To my favorite tour guide and favorite brother:

Congratulations in this new achievement. I know the passion you have for the Scripture, I pray that the Lord give you more wisdom and revelation of his word, in order to spread the gospel wherever you go.

I hope your dreams overcome the skyscrapers that accompanied you in this journey.

Ivan, you’re a true blessing – a man of incredible integrity and virtue! I can’t wait to see how much you grow to inspire and lead in the world. You’re destined for greatness and this is only the beginning.

Ivan! So thankful to call you friend. Your love for others and Jesus is out of this world. I wish you all the best!

Ivan, I enjoyed having you in Statesmanship in fall 2019. In particular, you impressed me with your poise and thoughtfulness during the oral exam for that course. All good wishes, and congratulations on earning your degree!

Ivan, congratulations! I’ve very much enjoyed working with you and getting to know you over the last few years. Your dedication to God and man are exemplary! May God bless you richly!

Ivan!! You are such an incredible man and I’ve enjoyed every minute of hanging out with you. I’ll miss our conversations in the library while you were working and I was printing something out, and the late nights we spent at the gospel mission. Congrats on graduating!!

Ivan, we are so proud of you! What a joy it has been to watch you achieve this huge accomplishment. We have seen you grow so much over the past few years, and it has been an honor to walk alongside you as you continue to say yes to the calling God has placed on your life. Thanks for being a part of Resurrection Life NYC and for pouring your heart into our faith community. May you continue to live, love, and lead like Jesus wherever you go!

Ivan, congratulations! I so appreciated your thoughtful, steady, kind presence. Cheers to this new season of life. May it be full of His goodness!
