Jackson, I am going to miss having you on campus so much! You have been such a great part of our community, you have served in so many ways, and you always bring a smile to my face. Thanks for all you have done–don’t be a stranger and congrats on graduating!

Jackson! Don’t leave! You and Carter Fletcher are the two students that I believe were more encouraging to me than I was to you in our coffee one-on-ones. Thanks for your friendship. Congratulations and God bless you, brother.

JACKSON! I can’t believe I am going to go onto the 6th floor and not see your face at the student services desk. You make me laugh so much! I also will greatly miss sitting in our ‘assigned’ seats during interregnum meetings. What a joy to know you and privilege to have gotten to work with you. Wish you all the best!

Keep making things usable! I know you will make a big difference and bring excellent, compelling values in to whatever work you do throughout your career.

Jackson, I don’t even know where to start. You have been there since day one and I am so grateful for you! From late-night talks freshman year to Israel sophomore year to Student Services the last three! You always know how to bring God’s love and kindness to every situation whether the people are your close friends or complete strangers. You also know how to have so much fun and made every Student Services meeting a great time! I’ll miss hanging out at the desk with you, getting your advice, jamming to music, cracking jokes, and just catching up. You are truly a gem and have shaped King’s (and me) for the better!

You’re graduating!! Congratulations!! Despite the circumstances (pandemic + you not wanting to leave King’s quite yet), you’ve moved forward winsomely and haven’t stopped trying to make everyone around you smile and laugh. You will be so missed in the halls of King’s for that reason and many others, but I’m sure the next generation will realize they must take up the responsibility of making sure everyone is having a good time. You’ve left an indelible mark on this school. I’m so grateful you came to King’s, as I know many are, but I’m especially glad since it’s where we got to meet and fall in love 🙂 Let’s keep the fun going so college doesn’t really have end!!

Jackson Fordyce <3 my first impression of you was the first week of C&S, because you sat in front of me and I thought "that guy has prettier hair than I do." I am SO thankful that I met you for real after that and for 4 years of friendship with you. I treasure our time on the Interregnum committee together, when I'd run into you in the Hanover study rooms, that time in Central Park when we played "make it or break it" and I laughed so hard I almost fell off the rock, and of course the fact that you introduced me to Jim. I admire your faith and walk with God, how consistently you seek Him and follow His will for your life, and work to bless the people around you. I could say a lot of things about how wonderful I think you are. I'm really lucky to have such a godly, funny, wise, kindhearted friend. I hope that we are friends for many, many years after college.

Jackson, My love. To know you is to love you and I love you the most! Since you were a small child there has not been a room that you have walked into that everyone did not instantly want to know you and friend you, same is true today! You exude the most sincere spirit of joy in everything that you do. Even the most mundane tasks are more fun when you’re around. The way you love and share Christ so honestly and unapologetically is so beautiful. Where you were once born with a hole in your heart, is now filled by God’s grace, love, healing, great friends, loving family, provision, abundance, joy, health and now the brightest future! I love you Boo, more than words could ever express:)

You will be so missed Jackson! I am grateful for every opportunity I’ve had to work with you, but also the opportunities to get to know you. You are incredibly humble and dedicated in all of your work, no matter how big or small. I appreciate your smile every time you say hello. It sure helps to see that!
