Notes for Josiah

Josiah, I’m so grateful to have had you as a staff writer this year. I admire your ability to reason and express your ideas clearly. Your desire to learn is commendable, and I’ve seen you grow so much as a writer and a professional in these last several months. Cheering for you!!

Josiah, can’t believe you’re leaving us, man! It has been such a pleasure having you at King’s–you always bring a laugh but you also love so well and serve so deeply. Thanks for all you have done. Excited for you–congrats on graduating!

Congratulations, Josiah! Watching you lead Bonhoeffer I was so impressed with your growth and faithfulness. You care about what is good and true and are always ready to debate. And you are always ready with a quick joke. I’ll miss having you around campus. May God bless you, brother.

Josiah! I’ll never forgot the time you spent all day helping me autotune my voice for a Student Services video. That kind of talent is unmatched – can’t wait to see where you take it!

Josiah! What an honor to get to know you the last few years. Love the way you think, your firm and contemplative faith, and your willingness to learn/grow. More group discussions and Survivor chats in our future, I’m sure. Congrats!

Thanks for always being such a strong and needed voice on the Student Services team! I will miss your weekly caricatures which bordered on terrifying but were always amusing.

I am SO proud of you! You give your all in everything you choose to do, and your time at King’s was no exception 🙂 It’s been a privilege to see you grow and grow with you…CONGRATS GRAD! Micah 6:8 <3

Josiah, you have been a wonderful friend to me for all four years, for the best and the hardest moments of my time at King’s. I am so grateful for your constant encouragement in my life and all the fun memories we have together. Can’t wait to stay friends forever!

Josiah,

Getting to know you has been one of my great joys over the last four years. I had the pleasure of welcoming you into the House of Bonhoeffer in 2016, and I’m so glad to have been able to stay in the community to watch what you can do.
From the Vlogs to House leadership positions to running for Student Body President and all four years on the soccer team, you made an indelible mark on The King’s College during your years. On top of that, you’re one of the funniest people I know and a genuine spirit. I know you’re going to have success at whatever you put your mind to.

I hope to share Thanksgiving Dinner with you again one day.

Josiah, you are such a sweet and fun friend to have in one’s life. You brought new perspectives, scary caricatures, and lightheartedness to every Student Services meeting and for that, I am very grateful! You are also such a strong man of God who cares deeply for those around you, you are incredibly smart and hardworking, and served your school well over four years. I will cherish our early memories freshman year that brought us closer the last two years at Stu Serv. Can’t wait to see you shine in the professional world!

Josiah!!! It was a joy to get to know you over the last few months. I’m cheering you on and can’t wait to see what the Lord is going to do in and through you in your career.

Competing with you and against you will always be some of my greatest memories. I am looking forward to ruling the world with you <3

Josiah, we love having you in our home! Thank you for blessing us with your presence and always taking our conversation to the next level. You are handsome, smart and strong, and I’m confident you’ll continue to be a light and do great things. Congratulations on your graduation! We love you.

Mail your keys to Ryan. I think mine are lost in the mail. Also, FaceTime me back. I need to ask you something. Also, congrats on graduating.

Best,
Yours,
In Him,
Jackson

Josiah,

It has been so fun to get to know you during my time at King’s and I hope I continue to know you for a long time. I know I can count on you for a lively debate, a good laugh, and an answer to whatever Student Services related question I may have. Wishing you all the best beyond King’s!

Congrats Josiah! I’m glad we got to be teammates last year. (even when you drew really scary doodles) Best wishes in all that post grad holds for you!

Josiah, congratulations on graduating!! You are one of the most intellectually curious people I know and I’ve loved watching how that all plays out both in academics and daily life. It’s inspired me to dig deep and be honest and I know it’s done the same for others. Thanks for being a brother to Jackson. You may never hear him say it, but you mean the world to him. Also, I hope you know that the opening line of Anymore is forever cemented in my brain as “Josiahhh and little Aaron” as sung by Kim Petras.

Your probing questions elevated the class discussion and made us all think deeper about media ethics. You’ve got a sharp mind, Josiah — you can have a big impact wherever you choose to put your focus.

I’ve enjoyed meeting you and talking to you in the short time I have known you. You are a great person and I wish you nothing but the best in your next step. Take care of my man Daniel. Best wishes

Josiah!

So weird how we have literally the same exact background haha.

Thanks for being my friend all four years. We have had many an interesting conversation and I really respect your informed and well executed opinions.

I hope life is kind to you.

Stay friends with me!

Josiah, thank you so much for serving our community! I regret that I didn’t get to know you earlier in your career at King’s but I am grateful that I had the opportunity to work with you even in the short time that I did know you. You have been a blessing to us and I hope those blessings are doubled for you!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Josiah, you’re such a great guy, and I’m so glad to have gotten to know you over these past four years. I’m really excited to see what God has planned for this next season of your life. I know He will use you in big ways!

Josiah,

From the soccer field to Statesmanship to Ischuros to the SBP race, we kept running into each other! You’re a good man, and I wish you the best of luck after King’s!
