MISS BROOKS! So so proud of you! Thankful for who you are! Can’t wait to play bass on your next record. Xoxo

Brooks! You’re an original. So easy to pick up a conversation with you whenever. Wish you the best.

Kat!! I could not have done this year without you. I can only hope my future team members will be half as amazing as you were. I can’t thank you enough. I wish you the best in music, and I’m looking forward to hearing your work.

Kat! You are such an amazing person and I’m so glad I got to know you this year and work with you in interregnum. You are incredibly talented and you’re going to go so far in life! All the best wishes to you!!

Many many many congratulations! Come join the TKC alumni crew. So proud!

Kat!! Your encouragement on the soccer field meant so, so much to me on and off the field! So thank you and congrats! You will be missed (and so will your stellar music on van rides)!!!

Kat, I am so glad that we went to Israel together. So many times on that trip you had beautiful insights and wisdom, and you were able to connect what we were experiencing to truths about life and the world so well. I was in awe of you in all our discussions and I learned so much from you on that trip! You have the most beautiful smile in the world and your joy is contagious. You make the people around you feel valued and loved. I’ll miss running into you at King’s. Sending my love and congrats!!

Kathryn, it was a joy getting to know you in my class and I so appreciated your help with my opera. Best wishes for the future!

KB, Kate, old roomie, and forever a best friend. I am so grateful that since preseason we have been so close. From (almost) spending every spring break together to you convincing me to play soccer my senior year to all the memories in between. I miss Mexico with you and Kiana, I miss Maiden Lane, I miss your early music recommendations that helped shape my taste in folk music, and I’ll miss you when you leave the city permanently. Thank you for being there for me, for traveling the world with me, and for helping keep the spirit of the House of Truth RED HOT <3

Katty Brooks :’) You are such a beautiful, bold, passionate human and I’ve loved my time with you here at King’s. From preseason freshman year to closing out our soccer careers together, you’ve had my back since day 1. I can’t wait to see (and hear) all the amazing things you create in the years to come.

I thoroughly enjoyed hearing you express your thoughts and opinions ever so eloquently during APTAP II. I really came to respect you from across the classroom. I am happy that we at least got to share that one night at Whitehorse together!

KAT! You have been a constant source of joy in my years at King’s and in Truth. Your heart and your talent truly a light in this world. ily <3

Kat. Wow! I can’t believe how quickly time has gone by. I am so proud of the woman you are. I love listening to you sing, and watching you thrive in your talents.

YOU DID IT. You made it to the end of your college experience. I know there were ups and downs, but through it all, you challenged yourself and you grew into a mature and wise woman.

Thank you for letting me be your house mom your first year. Love you loads. Congratulations!

If I had to share a name with anyone on campus, I am so glad it was you! You always were so encouraging and just such a kind person. I feel so blessed that I had the opportunity to get to know you a bit over the years and I can’t wait to hear about all of the amazing things you’ll do in the future!

Kat, you are such an amazing person and I’m so glad I got to know you, even if it wasn’t for all four years! I know you’re going to accomplish so much and I’m so excited for you 🙂

Congrats on graduating!! Can’t wait to see your next journey in life.

Congratulations! I hope that you stay in the city and continue pursuing your talents in music. We played your virtual open mic night song during dinner, and you blew us all away! Can’t wait to see you again when this is all over!

So proud of you Kat!
Your adventures through King’s and NYC will forever be a part of you. So glad you made so many life long friends and never missed a chance to experience the city in ways that were uniquely your own.
Cheers to the bright future that you will certainly create for yourself and for those blessed to meet you along the way.

Kathryn,

I’m so happy to share in the excitement of your graduation and the completion of your degree. It’s an understatement to say that I am very proud of you. Having had an opportunity to watch you practice and play soccer, observe a classy young lady who is a student of the first order, and to know a God fearing woman, I’m certain today will be only the first of many proud, successful moments for you. It’s my great privilege to know you and to have had the honor of coaching you. I think of some of the meaningful conversations about the protestant/catholic faith we shared while on road trips to away games and I always smile.

It is truly an honor. I wish you much success in all that you do. God bless you!

Congratulations!

Kat!! It’s been so cool hanging out these past couple of years. The Saloon playlist you made is one of the best playlists I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to see what’s next for you!

Kathryn, what a joy and pleasure it has been to know you. I am so proud of the way you’ve grown as a student-athlete these past four years. I have truly appreciated getting to you better over the last year. Your enthusiasm for TKC Athletics is amazing, and I am grateful for how you took the baton as SAAC President. However, even better things are still ahead for you, and I hope you’ll keep in touch so I can hear about them. Congratulations on your graduation and God bless you!

Congratulations, Kat!!! 😀 So happy for you – good job finishing your four years well!!

Kathryn!

I have only interacted with you a few times, but your poise and spirit truly made an impression on me.

KAT!!!

You did it!!! Congratulations, girl 🥳
You’re the coolest and I’m so glad we got these 4yrs together 🙌🏼

KB, the bond we developed over the last four years is one I will forever be grateful for! You are my forever friend that helped make these college years unforgettable:) You loved every version of me and pushed me in multiple ways. Thank you for being YOU! If you ever need a music agent, please don’t forget about me 😉

My coyote sister,

I am so proud of you. This has not been an easy year, but you have made it. All the while, radiating confidence and liveliness. As our man Hemingway says, “Courage is grace under pressure.” I have no doubt that you will achieve everything you have set out to do. As I said on our final night in NYC together, I will forever be inspired by your dedication, talent, and drive. I cannot wait for us to one day sail the world–jibing to far off harbors and mooring off the coasts of St. Somewhere. Until then, we will always have Kentucky or Arizona. Love you forever.

KATHRYN BROOKS! My first buddy and my better half who everyone mistakes me with. It’s an honor being your body double! Girl I love you long time and am so incredibly grateful for our friendship. We’ve grown apart in seeing each other as much as we did freshman year but definitely not in spirit. I still look at you and smile! I’m so thankful for our Central Park picnic dates. You’re someone I have always been able to be 100% real and raw with and I admire that. You have such a cool atmosphere of acceptance and love. Everyone who is near you knows it. You mean so much to me. Can’t wait for our future picnics at whatever parks we find ourselves at.

Kat, you were one of the first friends I made at King’s and you will always be one of the funniest people I have ever met. You are such an awesome and amazing person. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you. Keep making people laugh and please stay in touch!
