Notes for Kiana

Kiana – it was so much fun working with you on Exec as a Truthie. You are such a go-getter, and I know amazing things lie ahead for you!

Kiana – you know I absolutely adore you. Shoutout to our very first ESTv crew and all the late night editing. You are so wonderful and I can’t wait to see what amazing things you’ll do next!

Congratulations honey!! I’m so insanely proud of you and I have no doubt wherever you end up next will be nothing short of fabulous! I’m so grateful to King’s for bringing us together, four years on this crazy ride with you and a lifetime to go!!!

Kiana, girl I don’t even know where to begin. You have been there literally since the beginning of Truth. I will always remember when Marisa, you, and I struggled through the freezing winds of April 2016 to see the WTC. Since then we’ve been friends ever since. We have lived together for like 2+ years, we’ve seen countless movies together, and laughed at all the craziness life has thrown at us. I couldn’t have gotten through King’s without you and your reassurance and I so hope that this is just the beginning of our adventures as best friends and roommates! <3

Kiana!
I know I only talked to you a few times but each time it was such a joy! You are such an amazing human being. I wish I could’ve seen you rock at Truthie idol. I wish you all the best!

Kiana! Wow I am so impressed at how hard you work in academics and your career. You are always so fun to be around. You also make the best meals, as compared to my microwave rice lol. I can’t wait to see where you end up!

Kianna, remember us when you’re hanging out with Oprah and Michelle O. in a few years. With your innumerable gifts, that’s where you’re heading. Congrats!

Kiana.

Believe it or not, I remember the first moment I met you. You were moving in to your apartment at Clark Street. I popped into your room to check on you and your parents. I asked you if you needed anything and you looked back at me, smiled big, and said “No I’m good, I got this!”

I instantly knew you were going to be just fine. And man girl, did you EVER take New York by the horns. You have made every moment count for four years of college. I also remember you FREAKING OUT with excitement because you made it into the live studio TV audience of a late night show. Jimmy Fallon I think?

You have had strength and confidence since the minute you came to New York, and you’ve carried that with you for so long. I’m sure you’ve had tough times, but here you are. You’re made it through and should be very proud. Congratulations love!

Kiana! You are such a smart, kind, and patient person. I’m so glad I got to live with you, even if it was short-lived! I’m so excited for your future, and I know you’re going to accomplish great things!

Congratulations!!

Kiana, you’re so great! I’m so glad to have gotten to know you over the past four years, and I’m really excited to see what God has in store for you.

Kiana! I’m so proud of you, congratulations on completing this time in your life. I am so glad our paths crossed in the House of Truth and that we became friends. You should absolutely celebrate all the hard work you put in! Please know that I am celebrating you from afar!!
xxAngel

Congrats you gorgeous girl! I feel so lucky to have gotten to be your friend while at King’s. Whether it’s with your smile or your determination to do something well you impress everyone you meet and I have no doubt that you will continue to.
Thanks for being the reason Annie and I saw Mexico. That was a trip of a lifetime! I hope we have the chance to go back some day.

KIANA!!!!

Friend!! You did it 🥳 I am so so proud of you and excited to see where you go next! Time flies but I’m so grateful to have gotten the last 4yrs with you 😭 I hope you feel celebrated today, cause you are a GRADUATE 😍🙌🏼🤩

Kiana, I’m so proud of you! Thanks for always greeting me in the hall and for laughing at all my jokes. I’ll miss you and I’m excited to see where God will take you next!

It has been amazing watching you grow from this little ole middle schooler who used to create short films in her house with her friends into this beautiful grown woman who is achieving all of her dreams! Whatever you do and wherever you go just know that I will always be rooting for you no matter what and I will always be here for you! We stan an educated black queen and your name is going to go down in history for sure!

Just want to say congrats on making it to the end. That’s a big accomplishment. Keep growing and doing your thing.

Congratulations sis! I couldn’t be more proud of you. It has been such a pleasure growing up with you, and then watching you grow from a far. You have something special about you that anyone who meets you spots right away, and it’s a privilege to call you a life long friend. I love you so much and you deserve everything that you’ve worked so hard for and everything coming your way!❤️

Congratulations Kiana! May the God who created and made you in His image bless your journey as you tackle your next endeavor. It was a pleasure to be your coach and to observe you as you completed your degree.

Your friend,

Bracey

Kiana Marie ,
Be proud of this moment – you deserve it for all the effort and passion you invested. So here’s a big HooRay on you graduating! Wish I could of been there to help you celebrate cousin! ❤️

Kiana, I love you so much! I am so pleased to have met you and become great friends! I’m so proud of you and can’t wait to see where life takes you. 4 years of friendship down a lifetime to go!

Congrats, Ki-bear!! I’m so proud of you for always outworking and encouraging those around you. You bring out the best in those you cross paths with, and your success is all well-deserved!! Enjoy this (admittedly weird) time and we’ll all celebrate your successes at a government-approved distance 😉

Love you grand little! 💕

Kiana Marie…you’re welcome! You’re welcome for all the memories, all the study support, the tears I dried, the hydration after that one drunk night, the boys I chased away for you, the clean apartment & chore chart, the exercise through making you join the soccer team, for being your food buddy 24/7, for all the wisdom & guidance to navigate life, for introducing you to Jimmy, and all the free movies & iPic food, for letting you get water from the events lab, and for that round of free shots at your birthday…YOU ARE WELCOME!

I love you more than anyone & you know this. You’re annoying and perfect all at the same time & I can’t imagine my time at King’s without YOU. If you’re all I got out of the whole crazy experience, it’d still be worth it. Stop trying to get rid of me, because we will be two old goons once our hubby’s die and we’re left alone! GET READY!
See you SOON!

Kiana, Before they close the digital yearbook, I wanted to congratulate you on earning your MCA degree and graduating cum laude. I still remember well your many contributions to Foundations of Politics, and I am very glad that we stayed in touch after that semester. Wishing you many blessings in your life after King’s.

Kiki. One of my favorite faces to see in school. I love every memory we shared together and I cannot wait to hear about all of the things you do in the future. Please never stop being you and always stay in touch! Love you!
