Notes for Kimchean

I hope you know how grateful all of us in M&C are for you, more than we can express in a little paragraph blurb! Your creativity and attitude of service is such a blessing. I am so impressed with your illustrations and the way you are so open to incorporating feedback to help my ideas come to light. Please let me know if you ever need a professional reference or if I can help you in any way.

Congratulations, Koy! And welcome to the brotherhood of the alumni of the House of Churchill. I hope to get to know you better as alumni. However, I do want to say that your amazing work in Marketing and Communications did not go unnoticed. Thanks for serving King’s so well. God bless you in your next chapter.

KOY! Gosh, you are unbelievably talented and a joy to work with. Glad you’re not leaving us as you graduate. Thanks for bringing our team to the next level, and congratulations on your graduation!

I am so sad that you are graduating, excited for you but sad for me and King’s. Thank you for all the help this past year, you are so good at what you do and are always a delight to work with. Appreciate all you’ve done to make our college better!

KOYkoy! Sorry that the pandemic killed your graduation. I will be picturing you as an iPad attached to a robot rolling out to shake another robot’s hand.

Hiring you was the best decision I ever made at King’s. You are the hardest worker and the most talented and amazing artist and illustrator. I have no doubt you will do great things.

Dear Koy,

Upon this week of celebration, I would like to say I’ve always savored our banter. Especially when it is hallway banter. I do so hope it will continue soon. Now, please get back to work.

Yours truly,

My Dear Koy,

It has been a thrilling journey to get to know you these past few years. Please always play online Catan with me no matter where our paths end up.

Koy! Miss you! I’m so happy for you and so excited to see what you’ll go on to do next.

Koy, God’s hand is upon you for the best you such a great blessings to all of us. We are proud to be your mum and dad.

Koy, you’ve done it! Thanks for being my best friend and roommate these past three years. You’re a creative genius and I know there are big things ahead for you. I’m your #1 fan!

Koy! I used to call a couple of years ago when you appeared in basically every King’s marketing piece and video “the Summer of Koy.” Little did I know that it would be a years-long season. You have transformed how King’s looks, and you have been cool and steady when decorum in the office breaks down around 3pm everyday.

As a friend, I thank you for your support and friendship to the boys, from helping us pack to going on the inaugural Flushing food tour and more. Can’t wait to see what’s ahead, and I’m glad to walk alongside you!

My dearest Sir,

What a joy it has been to know you and work with you over the years. You are truly one of the most talented artists I know and your fits continually inspire me & the entire student body (I asked everyone and they all agreed). You are a true artist and a true friend. Thank you for constantly encouraging me to create and supporting me as I followed my own passions. I’m truly so honored to have been able to worked with you. Its been a joy to share my king’s experience with you and I know you are going to go on to do fantastic things! & I’ll be there cheering you on the whole time! Congratulations!!

You’re the least problematic roommate I’ve ever had, and I’m blessed to still have you as a close friend to this day. I’ve learned so much from you over the last few years and love getting to see the world through your eyes.

Congrats on your degree, you’ve worked hard to earn it. I know you’re just getting started, can’t wait to see what’s next.

Koy!! Congrats on graduating!! You’re talents are undeniable. I’m grateful to know you and can’t wait to see what you do next. I’m happy you always vote on my polls and stay in the know about 1D…this is woven into the foundation of our friendship. Lol. I hope to see you soon!!

Koy! I will miss shouting your name in the halls. You are such a talented, innovative, kind individual. Excited for you as you embark on this new season!
