Notes for Laura

Laura, didn’t you graduate, like, two years ago? You’re great and I hope that the trials and triumphs ahead (planned out by God) only make you greater!

I miss seeing you at church! You always have encouraged me to be better and trust God in every situation. I can’t wait to see you again soon!

Laura! Barton and King’s will miss your sweet presence! Congrats on finishing this chapter well and I look forward to all the adventures God has in store for you–and the beautiful insta pics to accompany these adventures 🙂 Excited to see you flourish in this new season. Congrats again–GO CELEBRATE!

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matt. 6:33)

Congratulations on graduating, Laura! It’s a bummer that it took us until last year to really spend time together, but I’m so glad we did. Thanks for coming in for ice cream so often (lol) and for being the fiercest game night competitor and teammate. You’re so much fun to be around, and I hope you feel celebrated in this time. Excited to see where you go from here!

Congrats! (I know you graduated in December, but it’s still worth celebrating now!)

Laura! It was so good to see a familiar face at Central on Sundays, and especially because you always have a smile on your face! Congrats on graduation!!

Laura, I will always remember singing in the bus and buying matching shirts with you in Israel. You are such a kind, fun friend and I’m excited to see where life takes you!

Congratulations on graduating, Laura. You are always so kind and have such a gentle spirit. I told Holly once that I want to be like you when I grow up, and it’s true. I hope that there are many happy moments ahead and that I can see you again soon! You are so loved. 🙂

Laura! I’m so glad we met at the Conference on Christianity and National Security in DC a few years ago. You are truly a delight and I’m really excited for you for your new job. And love your adventurous spirit!

Laura, you embody true joy. I loved spending time with you in Israel — dancing, making up songs, and exploring the Holy Land together. Congratulations on this huge milestone — I cannot wait to see how The Lord continues to work in your life!

Wooo!!! You made it! I’m crazy proud Of how much you’ve grown and who you’ve become! You’ve been an incredible influence in my life, and I’m so glad we squeezed in a month or two of being roomies before life got unpredictable. Stay in touch and keep being amazing!

L. ZIESER!!!!!!!! I don’t even know where to begin. You are one of the funnest, funniest, frank, adventurous, dependable, and intentional people I know. I’m so grateful for the time we shared in historical theology, in Israel (thanks for teaching me how to beatbox, btw), and most of all for the fro-yo runs we got to make this past semester.

You have so much wisdom to share and you love those in your life so well. Thank you for letting me be your friend. I can’t wait until we can go for walks, fro-yo runs, and explore foreign food together again. I have been so blessed and grown by your presence in my life.

Congratulations on all that you’ve done!

I love you so much,
Arianna

LAURA. I LOVE YOU. I seriously don’t have any words other than I admire your intelligence and FUN. You are the total package and I am so SO proud of you. I would say goodbye stranger, but I know you quite well 🙂 Keep on keepin on, you’re gonna kill it where ever you go!

Laura, you have one of the kindest hearts and most beautiful souls! I am so grateful that I had the chance to get to know you and hang out with you, you were always so nice to me and I really valued our conversations. I can’t wait to hear about all of the great things you do in the future!

Laura! I still have your sticky note you gave me freshman year. You’ve been there for me since day one and it is such a blessing to know you. You are such a thoughtful and intelligent person who speaks wisdom and shines a light wherever you go. I can’t wait to see where God takes you! You’re a true friend and I love ya.

PS: There’s no one else who is as resourceful and determined to find the best deals out there as you! Lets hang soon so I can keep giving you free food 😉

LAURA ZEISER! The best Israel roommate and fellow game-night gal!! I am so thankful that we’re friends. You are fierce and kind. You play Spicy Uno like no other. You are a steadfast and wise friend. I love you and I am looking forward to many more game nights! Please don’t move to Connecticut! <3

Sweet Laura, thank you for going out of your way to make me feel so welcomed and loved my first year at King’s. I will never forget when you took me, a clueless freshmen, out to coffee my first week of classes. You are so incredibly thoughtful, honest, and wise. I am excited to see how the Lord continues to work in your life!

Love,
Makenna

Laura!! I miss seeing you at King’s! I have LOVED getting to be your friend. You are chasing after God and it is beautiful to watch. After all this COVID stuff is over we need to catch up and pray more together.

Laura! I remember when we met in ETAP and created a killer group project. I will never forget singing “Burnin’ Up” by the Jonas Brothers when we went to the Dead Sea. Thanks for allowing me to share my beatboxing talents with the fam bam in Israel! You are such an amazing person and I’m glad that I got to share my karaoke birthday party with you. Congrats on your amazing achievements and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

P.S. We need to start working on that mixtape!
