Notes for Sarah

Sarah! Well done. I hope you feel so much joy at having completed this journey– not because it’s over (because I know you loved learning at King’s) but because you’ve just completed a significant journey. I’m celebrating with you!

I know we didn’t have a lot of time together, but I appreciated your great spirit and intellectual curiosity on the debate trips we shared. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Sarah, where do I even begin? I don’t remember when or how we became friends which is fitting because I feel like we’ve been lifelong friends and as I write this there are tears in my eyes. I am SO PROUD of you–not just the wonderful accomplishment of graduating King’s, but the woman that you are. You know the truth and you share that truth in a way that touches hearts. I’m looking forward to seeing the great plans Jesus has in store for you come to fruition and I plan to have a front row seat. Love you, friend! GO CELEBRATE!

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matt. 6:33)

Congratulations on this great achievement! I had such a wonderful time getting to know you in Israel. Your laugh is contagious, and your heart is beautiful. You’re going to do amazing things!

Sarah!!

Thanks for always making me double over in laughter and our talks about being from the Caribbean. I’ll miss my other islander, but I know that you’ll go far in life! Remember to keep Jesus first always and everything else will follow!

Sarah, you are such a great human being. I really enjoyed College Writing with you way back when, Fall 2016. What a time! I’m excited to see how God is going to use you to make this world a better place!

Sarah, congratulations on graduating! Every time we would talk at school, you were always so intentional and funny. It was so easy to talk with you and your joy was always so evident. I hope that this new phase of life is just as joyous as you are. Keep smiling and loving well, sweet friend!

Sarah. When I first heard your laugh I was like, “Yup. I want to be friends with her.” My intuition was correct. I’m so grateful to have a friend who can balance the need for comfort and the need to praise God. You allow me to express myself, but never allow me to forget who God is in the process. I am SO grateful for you and can’t wait to see you kick booty in the courtroom!!

Congratulations, sweet Sarah! I am so glad we are in the same house and have always been blown away by your talent. Blessings on everything to come!

SARAH FOX!!! I just realized I only realized address you with your full name because you’re that cool. I am so grateful for all of the laughs we’ve shared together and all of your insights. Thank you for sitting next to me on the bus in Israel, beat-boxing away (WHILE HUMMING), and for all the life and energy you bring everywhere you go. I’m so excited to see all that the Lord has for you, because you’re so bright, so compassionate, and so talented <3 <3

I love you Sarah Fox! Just thinking about you makes me smile, and I am so grateful to have shared time at Kings with you (courtesty of Leon Walrus and Caroline Burchett). I love your passion for living life well and finding joy in every moment. You are going to be such a light wherever you go and whatever you do. Thanks for floating in the dead sea with me, participating in my beatbox circles (ok, leading them), and being someone who made my time at Kings so special. Love you!

Sarah – you are the sweetest human being I’ve ever met. Thanks for making me smile and laugh and feel special all the time! Congrats on graduating and I wish the best for you!

Congratulations, Sarah! I have been so blessed to know you. I wish you the very best in the years to come!!

Congratulations to one of the most beautiful, smart, and loving people. You made my day every day! So blessed to know you!

Sarah, I am so thankful that we were in the same Intro to Econ group together during Freshman year! Thanks for being my hype-woman when I decided to dance with some strangers in that market in Israel. You are kind, thoughtful, beautiful, and have an amazing sense of humor. I can’t wait to see where God takes you!

Sarah, you are such a joy. I wish I could have experienced that joy even earlier in your career but I am so happy I got to meet you in your upperclassman years. Thank you for all of your hard work and commitment, especially as an FA and to our Library! You are so smart and I have no doubt that you will be blessed by God richly.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
