Notes for Stephen

Congratulations, Edison! I have such fond memories of our conversations over coffee during your first year at King’s. You are a joy to spend time with and a great conversationalist. May God bless you in your next chapter.

Edison, you’re eloquent, witty, thoughtful, and passionate comments in class were a highlight of my first semester at King’s.

Edison- I miss our chats at the student services desk and talking about all your cooking adventures! Hope you are well! Congrats!

Edison, I kind of feel responsible for your being at King’s? It was fun getting to host you in our apt for Inviso way back when, and I’m so glad I got to go to school with you. You’re so funny, and I’m so glad to have been around you these three years, although I didn’t get to know you super well. I’m excited to see what the future holds!

Edison! You are one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. You always make me laugh and I’m so grateful I got to meet you back when you first came to King’s. Seeing you around campus was always such a highlight of every day for me. I wish you all the best and please stay in touch!

You’re an icon of our time, my friend! I’ll always complement your earrings, hold your hand, and eat whatever you make. I love you, and I’m so proud of you!

CONGRATS! Love you and so proud of you. You’re gonna accomplish great things. Your presence is not easily ignored- in the best way. xoxo

I’m so grateful to have become friends with you over the past two years. You’ve challenged me to care for others more deeply and I know you always will! Thanks for deep talks always whether it’s at Whitehorse or on FaceTime. Love always!

Never stop cooking and being fabulous. You are a joy to all those around you!

Congrats to you Mr. Cummings & keep on cooking.
by the way, did you ever finish bag you were working on : )

Edison, It was a pleasure to get too know you in class and at the EST. Your talents as a writer and speaker (and home cook) are evident. May God be with you as you continue to develop your skills and experiences. Psalm 90:12 “Oh Lord, teach us to number our days so that we may present to thee, a heart of wisdom.” – Prof. Paul Glader

Edison, Classes with you were some of my favorites, because I could always count on you the rebut the dumb stuff people would say, but to do it with actually good arguments. Thank heck you came to King’s, because you presence was much needed (in many different ways). I can’t wait to see the amazing stuff you continue to cook up post-grad!! Congrats!!

Edison,

I miss seeing your bright personality everyday at Student Services. You’ve amazed me with your depth of knowledge and love for the arts, and your deep insight on religion, humanity, and family.

Congrats on graduating!!!

Edison, I miss taking classes with you! You always bring a challenging and unique perspective to any topic. I miss hearing your discoveries in food, art, and literature. When I’m back on instagram, I will be sure to keep sending you posts from Pasta Grannies:)

Edison, congratulations! Welcome to post-grad life. I always enjoyed running into you on campus. Whether it was chatting about writing, “black as tar” coffee, or future endeavors, you were such a welcome presence. Best of luck to you!

Congratulations Edison!
I have loved hanging out with you, sharing wine, and just talking for hours. Thank you for being my chat buddy all those mornings at the Student Services desk!
