Notes for Sydney

Sydney, what a joy it was to have you at King’s! Your smile is infectious and it always brightened my day to see you. Thanks for watching Simeon and being a part of his life–Laura and I are very grateful for your help with him. Congrats on graduating!

Sydney! You know how much I love you! I miss you so much in New York. I am so thankful to have been a part of your time at King’s… the good and the hard! I am thankful that you are wise and such a great friend. Wishing you the best always!

Lady Sydney,

You will forever be my 18A mom. I miss you so much now, and I hope our paths will cross again soon. I am so proud of you and the creativity you exemplify and are constantly developing. You mean so much to me! Congratulations!

Sydney – you did it!! Congrats on graduating, dear friend. I miss you so much already, but for now, our facetime dates will suffice. What’s next? A fashion brand? A podcast? A cookbook? Hopefully, all of the above and I will be there on the sidelines through them all! You have so much potential and I can’t wait to see it flourish.
I will never forget the great moments we have shared together since meeting you sophomore year: living in 18A, bonding over our love of family blogs, making vegan goodies, and traveling Europe with a very low budget (but very big smiles!). You love your friends so well and the Good inside of you is so evident in all that you do. Here’s to new adventures! Love you.

Syd,

It was an honor to serve alongside of you as a Chamberlain during our sophomore year. I know you’re a selfless follower of Christ, and I wish you nothing but success in the years following King’s. Congratulations on graduating!

Eddie VanZandt

Lady Sydney, I have loved getting to know you more through well group this year. You are so wise and such a sweet soul. I really miss seeing you in New York and hope to see you again in the future. Congrats!!

Congratulations, Sydney! I have truly enjoyed our time working together, and I wish you nothing but the best on the next leg of your journey. I’m eager to see what you create!

Sydney! Miss you friend. So glad you dragged me into the 18A boat and for all our fun time literally stacked on top of each other there. You’re such a fun, creative, and goal-oriented person, I know you’ll go far!

My beautiful little Syd! I’m SO crazy proud of you for sticking it out and excelling so well! It’s amazing how we were stuck together and that turned out to be the best thing that could’ve happened! I’m excited to see what God has planned for you and don’t be a stranger! You smile radiates a room, and I can’t wait to see you again! <3

Beautiful Sydney, I wish that we would have spent more time together, but I know that we will pick up right where we left off when I see you again! You have a gift for caring for others and always staying true to yourself. I’ve always admired your quiet strength and your willingness to be kind even when it’s hard. I love you!

I’m just so happy you’re no longer in school and you have the freedom to do whatever. Congratulations!! Proud too, but more happy for you <3

Syd! We survived Kings! I’m so so thankful for you and that we met in Philosophy freshman year. I think fondly of our Black Fox Coffee dates, Iceland, and potential business ideas (tbd, right?) I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. Your sweet, genuine spirit is such a gift to everyone! Don’t forget me when you become an insta influencer 😉 Love you much.

Congratulations Sydney!

You survived micro and journalism and half the majors at King’s. Keep being ambitious and creative and let’s go for a run when you get back!

Congratulations, Sydney! Celebrating you and this massive achievement! So thankful for your time at Apostles Church during this last season.

Sydney, you’re so great, and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you these past four years. I’m excited to see what God has in store for you!

Sydney,
Very nice to have you in the NNF class and as a JCS alum. Keep developing as a reporter and writer. Meanwhile, remember Ps. 90:12 “Oh Lord, teach us to number our days so that we may present to you, a heart of worship.” Psalm 90:12. Best Wishes, Prof. Paul Glader

I looked like such a DORK at Inviso but I can’t believe we’ve known each other since the very beginning! Sydney, you have been such an incredible friend and I’ve really enjoyed getting to hang out with you. Here’s to many more game nights, hangouts, and other good times! Congrats and stay in touch!

Congratulations on your graduation, Sydney! Excited to hear about your future plans, and hope it’s a wonderful new season!!!

You are the best big and friend a girl could ask for! I am so grateful for your sweet, servant-hearted, strong spirit, and miss our coffee and dinner dates. Here’s to the next one when quarantine ends I come visit and meet your chickens. 🙂 Praying for you always and excited to see all the adventures you go on!

You have such a kind spirit and gentle strength. I’ve always admired that so much in you. I hope that you have a beautiful postgraduate life and that all the things that fill you with awe and wonder come together in your work.
